Giving Tuesday Japan highlights an amazing charity, Hananoki Farm, that has been helping people with disabilities find employment!
This role model for agricultural and welfare collaboration is located in Kagoshima Prefecture and has offered employment for people with disabilities since 1972. The approximately 130 workers on its 38-hectare site produce over 15 kinds of crops 🌱, raise livestock 🐄, work at the on-site cafe ☕, and more.
The farm helps participants develop advanced agricultural skills and, in some cases, secure regular jobs, aiming to foster financial independence and human connection.
Check out their website and social media accounts for more information on how to support, volunteer, or express gratitude.
